The latter, on the other hand, use stretchable materials that are capable of creating this same skin without the need for heat.

Automatic packaging machines that use heat are more effective for packaging products with irregular or non-geometric shapes, as the packaging material adapts perfectly to their shapes, however complex they may be, as they pass through the shrink tunnel. On the other hand, automatic cold-working packaging machines are more effective for medium and large products with a more or less geometric shape.
